State-Level Induction Training on VPD Surveillance

A two-day State Level Induction Training on Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) Surveillance was conducted on 6–7 November 2025 at ATI Nainital. The training aimed to strengthen surveillance and reporting mechanisms for effective early detection and response to VPDs.

Participants included key officials and program staff from the Immunization and IDSP (Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme) sections. The sessions focused on case identification, data reporting, outbreak investigation protocols, and coordination between field units for enhanced public health response.

This initiative reinforces the state’s commitment to improving disease surveillance systems and ensuring timely public health actions for better community health outcomes.
